Internal Medicine
Primary Care
Marie Morrison, MD, believes in getting to know her patients. She is a physician with University Internal Medicine, where she has practiced since 2008. She completed medical school and residency training at The University of Tennessee, Memphis, and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
“I really enjoy getting to know people and establishing long-term relationships with them,” she explains. “Also, as a general internist, I can combine patient care with an emphasis on the individual as a whole person, not just one body part or disease entity."
Dr. Morrison’s areas of clinical interest include women’s health and preventive cardiology. Her undergraduate work includes a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Biochemistry from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Originally from Oak Ridge, Dr. Morrison lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with her husband, Eric, and two sons. She enjoys running, gardening, hiking and camping with her family.
