Located in the Turkey Creek Parkside Medical Plaza, Faculty Internal Medicine - West (FIM) is a group of physicians certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. It specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of adolescents and adults with emphasis on preventive medicine such as cancer screening, immunizations, smoking cessation, cardiac risk factor modification and encouragement of a healthy lifestyle.
At the same time, FIM physicians play an active role in the teaching of medical students and residents through the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine.
Offices are open for appointments from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Urgent and emergency problems can be addressed by calling one of our offices.
We are available for private appointments at our outpatient offices. Faculty Internal Medicine also runs an academic inpatient hospitalist service.
